Well friends, another month is drawing to a close, which means it’s time for yet another monthly recap. While March shepherded in spring, it also marked the anniversary of one whole year in quarantine. We love pandemic times. But hope springs eternal (see what I did there?) because our very own Sarah has received her vaccine.
Anyway, this month on the pod had a rousing discussion on self-promotion for authors and during the debate we learned that Sarah has strong thoughts on sand…

Subscribe to the podcast on your ~favorite~ listening platform so you don’t miss us next month when we chat about reimagining classic stories.
This month on the blog, I broke down the good, the bad, and the in-between of one of my favorite tropes: hero to villain. Next, Rigney wrapped up our Publishing House Tour series with an intro to imprints and how they play into the dynamics of a large publishing house. Lastly, Sarah introduced our latest article series, Building a Book, which we’ll be launching in April!
Our newsletter, Block Party, which will be out for our Patreon followers next Tuesday will address Romance and if the genre thrives on toxic tropes (spoiler: it doesn’t). If you’re not currently getting our newsletter, please consider supporting us on Patreon so we can bless your inbox with more great content. By joining us on Patreon, not only do you get access to the newsletter, but you’ll also get to listen to Three Houses, One Podcast earlier than everybody else and read some pretty kickass novels. Sounds great, right?
That’s all from us this month. We’ll see you in April for thoughts on perspective, the pros and cons of self-publishing platforms, and tips on brainstorming.
I’ll leave you with my third and final Star Wars gif for the month of March:
